How to Setup a Expiry Date?

Configure expiry settings for individual products.

Edit an existing product or create a new one, then click the Expiry Settings tab.

Enable Expiry Tracking
Check the box “Do you want to add this product in the expiry list?” to enable expiry tracking for the product.

Expiry Type
Choose how the expiry date is calculated:

Fixed Date
Select a specific calendar date when the product expires.

Use Case: Products with known expiration dates (e.g., promotional items ending on a specific date)

In Certain Days
Set the number of days after publication when the product expires.

Use Case: Products that expire X days after being listed (e.g., flash sales, limited-time offers)

Example: Setting “30” means the product expires 30 days after being published.

Action on Expiry
Override the global expiry action for this specific product.

Apply Sale Price Before Expiry
Enable automatic discount pricing as products approach their expiry date.

Add Discount Price Before Expiry?
Check this box to enable automatic sale pricing.

When Discount Price Should Apply (in days)
Set how many days before expiry the sale price activates.

Example: Setting “7” applies the sale price 7 days before expiry.

Sale Price (in percentage)
Enter the discount percentage to apply.

Use Case: A product priced at $100 will show $80 when it reaches 7 days before expiry (with 20% discount).

Remind Me Before (x) Days
Set unlimited reminder notifications at different intervals before expiry.
